Dorms & Meals
UWSA residents will stay in the University of Utah dorms, home of the athletes' village at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Meals will be served at the Heritage Center Dining Hall.

What to Bring

Commuter Campers for Advanced and College Prep Academy

Soccer shirts, shorts, socks, cleats, shin guards, running shoes, sandals, sunscreen, hat, water bottle (water and cups are provided), snacks, jacket.

Residential Campers for Advanced and College Prep Academy

Soccer shirts, shorts, socks, cleats, shin guards, running shoes, sandals, sunscreen, hat, water bottle (water and cups are provided), snacks, jacket, street clothes for non-soccer activities, alarm clock, soap/shampoo, pajamas, towels and a sleeping bag or sheets. No linen service is provided. Campers are allowed to bring food/snacks into the dorms but there are no refrigerators provided. Also, don't forget your $100 refundable room and key deposit check. Assuming there is no damage to the room, the deposit will be returned to the camper at checkout.

Women's Soccer - Ute [Soccer] Field

 

  • From Salt Lake City International Airport, exit the airport onto I-80 East. In about two miles, exit at 600 South, which is a one way street heading east. Take 600 South to 700 East and turn left. Turn right at 400 South. Continue heading east until you come to the Guardsman Way/Campus Center Drive intersection, then turn left. Get into the far lane and bear right onto South Campus Drive. Proceed east to Mario Capecchi Drive (formerly Wasatch Drive), then turn left. Take your first left into the parking lot east of the Jon M. Huntsman Center (silver dome). Parking is available along the north end of the lot. Ute Field is located directly north of the lot.
             Additional Parking is available by the track field. Once you are on Mario Capecchi Drive continue under the white Legacy Bridge and turn left onto Wasatch Dr. Make immediate left onto Student Life Way and follow in between the Student Life Building and McCarthey Track & Field to parking lot. 
  • From I-15 North, take 600 South exit. (Follow above directions from this point.)
  • From northbound Foothill Boulevard, take a right at Mario Capecchi Drive (formerly Wasatch Drive). Proceed past the intersection at South Campus Drive

 

 

 

Coming From Out of Town?

 The University of Utah is located 15 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC).  Utah Soccer Camps will provide transportation to and from the SLC Airport.  You must send us a travel itinerary one week in advance of the camp and confirm travel arrangements at that time

Times are subject to change. Individual game schedules and practice locations will be handed out at check-in for commuters and parents interested in attending.

NOTE TO COMMUTERS:Each group (team) plays one evening game that lasts 1 hour. The start times are 6:00 PM, 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM so commuter pick-up times vary from 7:00 PM, 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. At check-in on Monday you will receive a schedule that will outline your individual evening game schedule and morning practice locations.

Refund Policy

A nonrefundable handling fee of $15 will be assessed on all cancellations requested by 5:00 p.m. two weeks before a day Camp/Academy begins (Winter DTA, Ute Kicker, College ID and other like clinics). A nonrefundable handling fee of $30 will be assessed on all cancellations requested by 5:00 p.m. two weeks before an Advanced or College Prep Academy begins.

For example, if you are attending an Advanced Academy beginning Monday, June 26 (hypothetical date), refunds will not be given after 5:00 p.m. June 12. The University of Utah Soccer Camps cannot be held responsible for any change or cancellation charges required by airlines, travel agencies, or other institutions. No refunds will be given after this deadline UNLESS the requested written documentation is provided proving the reason falls under either the injury/illness or death in the family exceptions. No exceptions apply after midnight on the second day of camp.

 

Team Discount

If your team is planning on having ten or more players attending you are eligible for a team discount. Before registering have your coach or team manager e-mail us at utahwsoccer@gmail.com with a list of girls who will be signing up to recieve additional information. If ten or more girls don't sign up you will be charged the remaining amount.
