Summary of Camp
This 1-day camp is designed to enhance each camper's technique, knowledge, and game-play. Whether you're beginning your training or wanting to elevate your game and become one of the best in the state, this camp is designed to give you the best possible instruction to do so. Players will learn more about their position and incorporate high-level concepts into their game. Campers will use the same facilities, drills, technique, and training strategies that have elevated the U of U Volleyball team to a top-25 rank in the country.
Beth Launiere, entering her 33rd season as the Head Coach of U of U Volleyball, along with her staff and current U of U Volleyball players provide world-class instruction and feedback to campers in competitive, game-like drills as well as 6 on 6 competitions. Coach Beth's simple training philosophy - 'work hard, have fun' - creates a great environment for young volleyball enthusiasts to improve their game.
This camp is intended for boys and girls entering grades 7-12.
Want elite level training on your all-around volleyball game in addition to training? The All Skills Camp takes place the previous 3 days and together they make the best 4-day training in the state of Utah.
The resident option to stay over in the University Residence Halls and eat meals in the on-campus cafeteria, includes overnight stay as well as meals through the duration of their stay. Current U of U volleyball players will chaperone their stay and lead night-time games and activities in the residence halls.
