What is the processing fee?

The processing fee is a charge by our website provider for the services rendered for storing and organizing all of our camp information. Service charge is applicable to all individual athletic camp registrations processed by Florida Southern College. This fee is charged regardless of payment method used by the customer.


Is there a backup plan for the camp should bad weather arise?

Where possible, we try to secure a Turf Field locally. During Coronavirus (COVID-19) we have been unable to secure a site.


As a coaching staff we will be checking weather reports in the days leading into camp to access our options for training. In heavy downpours leading into camp (especially the night before), its likely we will wait to see if the field can dry before deciding its unplayable. There could be situations where some of the field sessions may need to be changed. We ask that families and campers remain flexible with weather delays, or even some cancelled field sessions in some weather conditions.


We will do everything possible to get in our field sessions as a priority to our campers. If a session or several are cancelled through weather, then we will still have coach presentations, school tour, and film presentations.


In the unlikely event that the entire camp must be cancelled, refunds will not be provided, but we will offer a make up date for the camp which will be determined at that time.




What is the policy for refunds on cancellations?


*****COVID-19****** In the event this camp is cancelled as a result of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), I can confirm that 100% of your registration fee will be returned to the credit card used during registration.

******Regular Cancellations****** A $100.00 administrative fee will be deducted from all refunds regardless of the reason. Refund requests must be made in writing before 14 days prior to the first day of camp session in which the camper was originally enrolled. NO REFUNDS for any reason (i.e., covid related, weather, flight issues, injury or illness ) will be given 14 DAYS PRIOR to camp.


Are there athletic trainers available for campers to get taped before playing or ice after?

Yes. There are athletic trainers available at each venue before and after each session. They will have ice bags available on-site.


Do the coaches have to pass any sort of test before hire?

Yes. All of our coaches and counselors must have passed a background check through the Human Resources Department before being cleared for hire by the Camps office.


Who are the coaches/counselors?

We hire both coaches and counselors for our Summer Camps. Florida Southern College Soccer Coaching staff are responsible for developing and running training sessions and coaching the teams. Counselors are current college players from Florida Southern College. They are responsible for taking care of the campers in the dorms, walking them to and from the field and assisting the coach with demonstrations and any other needs they have during training and games.


What is the deadline to sign up for camp?

There is no official deadline to sign up for camps; however, we do limit the number of participants in each session so sign up early to avoid being placed on a camp wait list or missing out entirely.


Do you accept roommate requests?

Yes. While we do accept roommate requests, however, we cannot guarantee that all requests will be filled due to dorm limitations.


When will we know who our kid is rooming with?

We do not give out this information prior to the start of camp due to any last minute cancellations or room shuffling that could occur. Once you have arrived at check-in, there will be staff on-site that will provide you with the dorm and room assignment for your camper.
