Summary of Camp

The Fall Elite Prospect Camp is a 1-day camp designed for advanced evaluation and instruction by the University of Maryland Eastern Shore coaching staff, emphasizing the potential to play Division I baseball.

Attendees will receive instruction, practice and play in a game on Hawk Stadium field.  Current players will mentor campers during camp answering questions about playing college baseball including time demands, support- academic, medical, nutritional, spiritual, social, etc.

What to Bring

Each camper must bring his/her own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. There will be limited supplies of bats and gloves that can be provided upon request. UMES Baseball camps requests each camper place his name and phone number on all equipment and items including shoes and clothing.

Itinerary

Estimated Sunday Schedule (8:00 am to 5:00 pm):
08:00 am.—Check-In begins
09:00 am.—Warm-Up
09:30 am.—Pro-Style Workout at positions (Primary & Secondary)
10:30 am.—Fundamental Drills and Position Instruction
11:00 am.—Hitting Stations begin
12:00 pm.—Q&A with Coach Hollamon
12:30 pm.—Lunch (on your own)

1:15  pm.-- Game

4:00 pm.—Conclusion

Insurance
In the event of injury or illness while at camp, your son may be taken to Tidal Health Medical Center located in Salisbury, MD. Insurance information provided on the medical form MUST be accurate. All campers must have their own medical insurance. University of Maryland Eastern Shore provides excess coverage after your insurance policy has been utilized. Campers will not be allowed to play unless the information is submitted and the form is signed by the parent or guardian of the camper.
